Movie time...

Tonight after a draw tennis match with Gennaro (6-3, 2-6), I went back home and I had time to watch a movie. I was so tired actually but I couldn't say "no" to this amazing title..."Non è mai troppo tardi". It just reminds how people can so easily forget about life values and important relationships but also that they can solve this just willing to do it!!

Alba, one of my last AIESEC year team mate, came to Rome and I'm hosting her. We had dinner and watched the movie together!

I absolutely love cinema and this is just the first advice of a good movies! It deserves to be watched!! If you are satisfied you can continue checking on this blog...there will be several "cinema suggestions" and releases.

Would you suggest me any movie title?

Good night...

A time for...Croatia!!

Last week I've spent a marvellous weekend in Croatia! I really enjoyed it a lot not only because it was my first visit to the country, but mostly due to the possibility to meet again two special friends, Geet & Cata!!!

Our weekend was a "need" for the all of us, especially for Cata, uh?

Thanks babies to have handled my weekend and having so much fun with me...soon I'll write down something more about these special days there and about my impression about Zagreb and the Croatians (girls especially!!)

Keep in touch on this screens, I'll be back!

A week to make it clear!

Last week it was the one, finally. in which all my thoughts went back to clarification! Yes that's it...everything went to the right place in my mind and confusion went away!

Yes, I can say that I faced one of the hardest periods of my last 3 years, but now I got through it, clarifying to myself and "somebody else" what I definitely want and need now! And, as usual for me, (those who know me a little bit better, would not be surprised), I did not stuck on the chair and I started running again, taking my decisions! Apparently, now I feel renewed, like a day after it rains...and I know it because I want to enjoy myself, I want to meet new people and I want to feel free to express my self without being judged...

And the last week was amazing for all these reasons...
Just to show you briefly:
- Monday: Tennis match with Gennaro, one of the team leaders at Consel; it was cool to play again after years of inactivity...I had almost forgot how to do it!!
- Tuesday: so tiiiiiiiired!! I went to bed early (after Champions League...FORZA ROMA!!!) with a terrible head-ache...
- JC Wednesday: yes...again altogether at my place...Arsenal-Milan on tv and 18 people eating Pizza in my living room! After dinner...TRASTEVERE (it's an ancient/historical area in Rome where people usally take a walk) and the usual "shottino". It was nice to spend some time relaxing and not taking care about the time...
- Thursday: piccola Chicca (spending the whole week with me because of AIESEC work in Rome for her) decided to stay 1 more night and we watched a movie together
- Friday: Aricciaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa again (ah yes...with JC people we went the previous Friday as well) with Cardillo and my lovely AIESEC daughter Masha...I was so happy you stayed with us, sweety!!
- Weekend: well...morning of study, shopping afternoon with Manu & Donatella (JC colleagues...sorry I know you don't like this way of calling you!)...and then...back home, jumped on the car and went to Michelangelo's in Nettuno! Spent 24 hours there...Saturday night: great dinner with Miki's parents, "after dinner walk" in Anzio and Nettuno (there's a medieval borghetto that deserves to be lived at night!), table-tennis and PS until 2.30 PM...then on Sunday: woke up at noon, JC people (Donatella, Manu, Seb and Can) joined us and after a rich lunch prepared again by Miki's mother we spent all the afternoon on the beach playing soccer and having fun! Sunday night, yesterday actually I was destroyed and went to bed after having watched a movie (Mr. Brooks) with Giobby (one of my best friends)...

Do you want more?!?

Well, pictures sometimes are the only way to make it clearer! Do you agree? Comment on them, come on, do not leave me alone writing my life! I wish I can have such an incredible time for the rest of my life...sometimes I need to rest a bit, otherwise my energy will be over soon.

Special thanks for this week go to 3 people:
Chicca
, I love you. You can't even imagine how helpful you've been in this period...I feel I have to pay you back somehow.
Anabella
, talking to you made me feel so good and I am happy we are getting closer and closer. I like the way you live all the things...I'll copy you...is there any copyright?!?
Miki
...well, it's not that easy to say but I prefer choosing the more direct way: it was surprising
to discover how people can get friends so eaily! I hope to strenghten it time by time...

JC Wednesdays

Hola a todos chicas y chicos,

don't worry my spanish is so terrible, no way for me to speak a different language apart Italian (Sicilian would say my friends) or English! I did it just because of Sebastian...you'll know who's this guy..read, read...

Yesterday night it was for the 3rd time that JC people (for those who don't know, JC stands for Junior Consulting, the company program I work for) met somewhere. Last week it was at my place, yesterday we all went to Sebastian's. Seb was an intern coming from Costarica 6 months ago to work for JC and in January he was offered to stay 6 more months.

Singing, drinking and having fun in such a simple way you can't even imagine was the theme of the night. I admit that you can enjoy even doing nothing if the people with you are the right ones!!! I hadn't been testing it for a long time...it was good to discover it again. You always know but there's such a big difference between knowing and experiencing!!!

I guess our Wednesdays are starting to get more exciting and even more organized but I assure you that they are bringing us so much fun and making us a great group!

We planned to go to Ariccia (a place nearby Rome) tomorrow night for a special dinner. It's gonna be a tricky game...who's getting DRUNK first?

My work...

"Talking about my working life is a
second step
of introducing myself."

The company I am working for is named CONSEL. I am parteciping in a project about the entrance of an italian media company (MEDIASET) into the mobile market. It's been a month now and it is supposed to end up in June.

Guided by a teamleader, I work in team with 2 other guys of my same age, Can, a turkish from Ankara, and Cristiano, from Rome. At the same time 7 other teams of 3 people each started with other projects.

The climate and the atmosphere (as you can see in this coloured picture of one of our casual fridays) is quite relaxing and motivating because all the people are nice and open.
It's definitely good working with people of your same age and create solid relations from the scratch especially in such a few time.

I admit my expectations were not that high at the beginning but now I feel like I made the right choice accepting and I know I'll give my best! Project is interesting and quite challenging, people are nice...moreover this experience allows me to finish my studies (1 exam and my thesis at the end) and get ready to choose where to work once degreed.

Last but not least...I am the only economist in a group of 23 engineers!
Will I learn something or will I get crazy?!?

Inspiration...

This music is inspiring me so much in this period and that's why I want it to start with the story of my life.

It simply tells about the strenght of human beliefs and how everyboby can feel complete even when darkness is hiding the sun.

Thanks Elisa

Tutto questo tempo a chiedermi Cos'è che non mi lascia in pace
Tutti questi anni a chiedermi Se vado veramente bene
